🌿 The Pilates Method
A strong body, a harmonious posture, a calm mind.
Pilates is much more than gentle exercise: it is a complete method for strengthening and balancing the body, based on the connection between body, mind, and breath. Created by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, this technique — originally called Contrology — aims to develop a flexible, strong, and balanced body without creating unnecessary tension.
Unlike other forms of exercise, Pilates strengthens from the inside out, placing the center of the body (the "core" or "powerhouse") at the heart of every movement. This not only improves posture and tones the entire body harmoniously, but also helps relieve tension and prevent pain.
🔹 A method based on 6 fundamental principles:
Concentration • Breath • Control • Center • Precision • Flow
🔹 A practice suitable for everyone:
Whether you are an athlete, sedentary, a senior, pregnant, or in rehabilitation, the Pilates method adapts to your needs. It can be practiced on the mat or using the original apparatus created by Joseph Pilates: Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Spine Corrector…
🔹 The benefits:

Improved posture and alignment

Reduced pain and tension (back, neck, shoulders, etc.)

Toned physique and strengthened deep muscles

Increased flexibility, coordination, and body awareness

Calm mind through controlled breathing

"After 10 sessions, you feel the difference. After 20 sessions, you see the difference. And after 30 sessions, you have a completely renewed body."
